I came into the month of June on a return flight from Maui and let's just say.... I wasn't happy about it. Rather than spending my evenings being sad I was no longer in paradise I channeled my energy into cocktails! The theme this month- "Drinks I would be sipping if I was in Hawaii". I hope you find a little sip of paradise in each one!
Passionfruit Daiquiri
1 1/2 oz lime juice
3 oz passionfruit
2 1/2 oz rum
1/2 oz cointreau
1/2 oz passionfruit pulp
Blend with ice
Strain if you have time
Drink up!
Pineapple Mojito
1 1/2 oz lime juice
1 oz simple syrup
2 1/2 oz white rum
2 oz pineapple juice
Serve over ice!
Mango Rum Punch
3 oz white rum
1/2 oz grenadine
1 oz lime juice
2 oz mango juice
Serve over ice
Monkeypod Mai Tai
1 oz light rum
1 oz dark rum
1/2 oz macadamia nut orgeat
1/2 oz orange curacao
3/4 oz fresh lime juice
For the foam-
1/2 oz honey
1 oz lilikoi puree
1 oz simple syrup
1 oz egg white
1/2 oz cold water
And blend!
Pour over top of Mai Tai and enjoy!
