Summer Cocktail Roundup

I hate that it's only August 18th and I feel like it's time to "round up" the summer cocktails. I'm a firm believe that summer continues through the end of September. Why? Because I live in Southern California and it's too hot for pumpkin spiced lattes until the beginning of November. September is the best beach month and also why anyone would want to end Summer any earlier is a psycho. I'm sorry, I said it. Don't come for me. I'll still be mixing up summer inspired beverages but I felt like if I didn't collect some of these recipes now, this post would be a chapter book long and we all know you probably quit reading this paragraph 2 sentences in..... So. Here's my favorite Sprig drinks of the summer!


Spicy Spritz- The sassiest of sassy drinks. I love this one because it doesn't require a shaker and who doesn't love an easy clean up?


To a glass filled to the brim with ice add: 2 oz 21 Seeds Cucumber Jalepno infused Tequila 1 oz aperol 1/2 oz lime juice Top with Prosecco











Tajin Watermelon Margarita

2 1/2 oz tequila

1 oz watermelon juice

1 oz mango juice

1/2 tajin snack sauce

Shake it up with lots of ice

Line rim with tajin snack sauce and pink Himalayan salt

Pour over ice and enjoy!















Raspberry Watermelon Cooler

1/2 oz raspberry simple syrup

1 oz watermelon juice

2 oz vodka

Stir or shake

Top with topo Chico











Berry Cocktail


1 oz berry simple syrup

1/2 oz vodka

Top with sparkling wine of choice


Berry Syrup


Over low/ medium heat combine:

1/2 cup sugar

1/2 cup water

Juice from half a lemon

A few sprigs of mint

1 cup of mixed berries

Strain and let cool



Kiwi Mojito

Muddle 1/2 a kiwi and a handful of mint leaves

Add 1/2 oz simple syrup

2 oz white rum

Stir with ice

Pour into glass with fresh ice

Top with Topo Chico











Rainer Cherry Smash

2 oz whiskey

1 oz Rainer cherry simple syrup

Mint

Muddle

Stir

Serve over ice

Top with DRY sparkling cherry soda


Rainer cherry syrup:

8-10 Rainer cherries de pitted and mashed

Add a few tbsp of water

1/4 cup sugar

Combine over heat until you get a syrup consistency adding gin more water or sugar as needed.

Strain.

Cool.



Blood Orange Negroni

1 oz campari

1 1/2 oz gin

Handful of muddled mint

Shake it up!

Top with blood orange soda












Grown up lemonade

2 oz vodka

1/2 oz cointreau

1 1/2 oz lemon juice

Shake it up!

Serve over ice












Strawberry Ginger Jewel

1/2 oz lime juice

Muddled strawberries

Honey

2 oz whiskey

Shake it up!

Top with ginger soda











Boozy Cherry Limeade

2 oz vodka

1 oz lombardo cherry syrup

1/2 oz lime juice

Shake it up!

Pour over ice and top with DRY Cherry Soda
